Tomorrow morning we take Ava in to find out if we can finally 'unplug' her from her 5 week stint on supplemental oxygen. We sure hope so, partly for her sake, but also for ours. It would be nice to be able to be burped upon while walking freely in our abode, or to change her clothes without first having to thread her tubing and monitor cords through her outfits. It would be great to give her kisses on her bare cheek (sans adhesive stickers). But who are we to complain, we're so fortunate for all the care we've received since her birth, and blessed that she continues to do so well. We hope she'll pass with flying colors.
